All 4 of those categories fall under one category. Keeping us safe. And most Americans take it for granted that the President will do that. (Bush has) Half of the Americans don’t think about this subject (but should) and half don’t care. So it is a waste of energy. Stay away from wedge issues like "Iraq time tables and Abortion, Gay Marriage etc." It is a smoke screen that is crushing your campaign.
The strategy has to be go after VOTERS first! There is one common denominator amongst all of them. We are a country of entrepreneurs. (75 Million people work for small businesses, I would imagine many of them are voters.) We were entrepreneurs when the country was formed and still are today. EVERYBODY IN THIS COUNTRY KNOWS A SMALL BUSINESS OWNER AND EVERYBODY KNOWS AN ENTREPRENEUR.
Why are Americans entrepreneurs? Because we are looking for a better lifestyle so we can take better care of our families.
Do interviews with small business owners and pick Internet marketers. EVERY ONE IN THE USA KNOWS A SMALL BUSINESS OWNER, WE CAN ALL RELATE. (the guys below are all big time internet marketers) The press will go crazy over with this and the Internet will flourish for you. You can start with:

American Small Business Coalition
There are ton’s more. All of these guys are BIG TIME MARKETERS, all of them know how to get the word out in 24 hours.
Even presidential candidates have to be willing to listen and be coachable and trainable…..Washington does not listen, haven’t learned and never will this is why Mitt has such a compelling argument. Mitt is an outsider and not a career politician. This is his opportunity to reach the entire country overnight and it doesn’t cost him anything but time. So keep the interviews short.

The SBA ranks 30th in morale out of 30 big agencies. Get it back on track. Appoint Bill Gates or someone like him to lead the agency.
THERE IS OVER $100 Billion in small business government contracts being funneled to the Fortune 500. Fix it. The SBA does not even disclose who are the small businesses winning the contracts.
I can go on, but you have an opportunity to make the endorsers of McCain eat their words.
THIS IS WHY IT WILL WORK: the little voice in people’s heads will say to themselves before the vote, "Mitt is going to take care of small businesses and I am either a small business and my cousin is a small business or the guy down the street is a small business <emotional connection> I’ll vote for Mitt since he will have a direct impact on me."
